Filmmaking feels a lot like cooking to me. Story is the key ingredient—raw, honest, and best when it feels real. Visuals are the seasoning, where I invent the flavors. Editing is all about timing. Emotion is the secret spice that gives audience its kick.

Whether I'm cooking up stop-motion, animation, or live action, I chase stories that make people laugh, cry, or call their mom on the drive home. I find magic in ordinary moments, blend humor with heartbreak, and trust that the smallest details can carry the biggest feelings.

I tell stories. I trust my gut. I make audiences hungry—for dumplings, for home, or for a really good cry.Siqi's work has been recognized by the Academy Awards, BAFTA, ASIFA-Hollywood, Sundance, and festivals around the world. She has collaborated with studios, brands, and organizations including Disney, Mailchimp, Verizon, Mattel, Nexus Studios, and Room to Read.
